We purchased the bug repellant ointment and wipes when we met the owner at the ADK Experience arts crafts show! I immediately loved the scent but honestly was a bit skeptical of how it would work on the trails…..I’m sold!!! It worked great against the black flies and whatever else was trying to land on us! We also bought the wipes (travel size) and wiped them over our exposed skin and clothes and then hung them from our shirt pockets (as recommended). The container size fit perfect in my pants pocket but only on one trail did we need to reapply as it was a super hot and humid day and we thought our sweat may have dissipated the ointment. We weren’t bothered again as we trekked up our first hike at Coney Mtn. From “skeptic” to “sold!,” we did the test for you! Both products are so much better than sprays and much safer. Happy hiking!
