Bought a bottle of this beautiful perfume in blue mountain lake. Its soft, sensuous, lasts and people remark how pleasant it smells! Love having something special to wear.
I guess I made a mistake in thinking it would smell just like all the milkweed that blooms with a most wonderful fragrance in my prairie . For a short time I enjoy it so and wanted to capture that scent for all year. The fragrance from you smells too heavy and cloying, I don’t like the mix of vanilla and whatever else is in the mix. I wanted something light and pure . I will not be able to wear it or spray it as I am really sensitive to smells and well, honestly it makes me nauseous. I appreciate your small business and the bespoke fragrances you have but this one is not for me. Do you ever make something with just milkweed and maybe one other light scent? Susan Bower

Love this perfume, this is my second bottle. This second batch has a little more of a “spicy” scent to it than the first one, but matches the notes of milkweed well.
Maybe make it actually smell like milkweed? I was crossing my fingers in the hopes that I finally found the right perfume with the right scent. Instead I get something that smells like lemon/vanilla pez candy. It’s awful and it’s not even a decent enough smell that I would want to wear. Sorry, but it’s nowhere close to what milkweed smells like.

I thought I already shared my delight in this fragrance already but just in case that review didn't get through, I adore how subtle and gentle this scent is on my skin. If I happen to pass my wrist near my face after applying it to my wrists, I catch the scent. As I act with others, making payments at the register or handing someone something, that scent follows my wrists and gives the other person a perfect dose of my mysteriously natural scent. I really do love this scent.
Im wearing it right now and it is heavenly. I didnt realize something called Milkweed could smell so good. Its very subtle and i put it it on my wrists. I talk with my hands, gesture really so the aroma ever so gently swaths through the air. Highly recommend to those who love natural fragrance that is not yelling out loud but whispers.
This is a lovely, delicate fragrance, reminds me of hiking on a beautiful trail during spring and summer. Starts out bright and citrus smelling and mellows out into a fresh, creamy, floral smell. This has quickly become a staple for me!
Unfortunately the cap was broken, though there was no damage to packaging. I put the remainder in another roller ball bottle. Really like the scent, had a sample before purchasing the roller ball.
Both fragrances that I ordered were too sweet for me. Had an almost talcum powder smell to to them underneath the other lovely scents. If that was particular scent was missing I think I would have loved this one, but that particular scent gives me a headache. Not sure which oil in this blend is bothering me. Product seems lovely otherwise and I am sure someone else would love it.
I'm planning on wearing this perfume for my wedding day! Monarch butterflies are my favorite (I first found out about this perfume from Monarch Joint Venture's marketplace) and I'm getting married at a Botanical Garden, so our wedding theme is flowers and butterflies, so I wanted a unique, floral, feminine perfume for the day- and this is absolutely perfect!! It also smells amazing and totally unique compared to other perfumes I've tried! So excited to wear this for our special day, and it's all the more special to me for being a milkweed perfume. :)
LOVELY fragrance, I ordered it because indeed, the milkweed scent is one of my favorites! it is VERY lovely- and the fact that it is a roll-on oil? Even MUCH better than regular perfumes. I do not think I want to go without it now
I have loved scent of milkweed since a child. Your perfume smells nothing like it. At first it was so harsh and burned smelling I kept it and packaging in cupboard b/c I couldn’t tolerate it. After week odor eased somewhat still harsh added scents of spice. Not quite cinnamon and something else. More like Fall than milkweed. Still pungent rather than pleasant. I have not used it just smelling bottle has been enough. I am very sorry but compared to delicate floral milkweed your product is truly awful.
Ok so this definitely needs time to mature and macerate. I love the scent and I think it smells wonderful, but my daughter immediately pointed out that she thinks it smells like fruit cereal, mostly fruity pebbles. A week later that smell is starting to dissipate, although I liked it from the start and told her to ignore it if she didn't love the smell of fruit cereal. Very pretty, lasted a few hours, definitely needs to rest after transit.
Besides the Sweetgrass, Milkweed is my new favorite! I tried the Discovery set and am slowly buying full size bottles. These are the best natural perfumes on the market!
