I ordered the balsam fir cologne after having enjoyed the cedar cologne. I find that a vanilla scent overpowers the scent of balsam fir in this cologne, but I still like it. The same is true in the cedar: more clove scent than cedar. I wish each of these had more of the woodsy fragrance they're named for than vanilla or clove. They're still very nice scents, however.

Balsam Fir Forest Serenity Perfume

I ordered the balsam roller perfume because the description sounded like the most woodsy, least sweet fragrance. Unfortunately the balsam smell evaporated quickly and then it’s a slightly sweet, musky scent - pleasant, almost like smoke, but not like a balsam tree. I liked it but it’s pricey with shipping when you can get a vial of something similar in a health food store.
