True balsam scent. My car smells like the woods of the Adirondacks. No artificial scent .

This smells great and scents the car really nicely. My kids always complain about the unfresh smell of our minivan (ironically, probably from them and their snacks), but they raved about how good the car smelled when I hung this from the mirror. Not exaggerating. They said it smelled like an open house or a nice home decor store. I'd agree!

I thought it would smell less perfume like- it smells synthetic to me - I wanted something that smelled natural / an organic smell.

I am using the car freshener and the scent is over the top! When I first put it in the car, exited to go into the store, the retailer was wondering where the Christmas tree was. I carried the scent into the store with me! It is perfect for the season.
The candles arrived well packaged and I love the tiny green bags for the car fragrances! They smell amazing! Living in Maine I can appreciate the balsam scent along with the cedar. I ordered more after the initial shipment to give as gifts, but I have to keep a candle for myself, of course. I highly recommend these beautiful candles.

Smellls wonderful and it's very cute too
The first one that I received was wonderful! It filled my car with the smell of pine just like being in the adirondacks. I loved it! Based on that I ordered a second one and the refill. When it arrived I opened it and put it into my car. Nothing no smell at all. I thought it was a mistake and emptied that one and used the refill I had ordered. Same result. No scent what so ever. That means the first one that I loved the smell was the mistake. I can't recommend this based on my experience.
Store owner replied: Hello, we appreciate your order and your feedback however this just does not seem possible due to the fact that the car freshener and refill is straight fragrance oil....nothing else so it would have the same scent every time :)

The candles burn hot and fast. They smell like kerosene and are very sooty.
