• The First Burn: Let the wax melt across the entire surface to prevent tunneling.
• Trim the Wick: Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each light to prevent smoking and uneven burning.
• Time Limit: Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time, then cool for 2 hours before relighting.
• Placement & Safety: Keep on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, pets, and children. Never leave unattended.
• Extinguish Safely: Use a snuffer rather than blowing the flame out, and keep the wax pool free of debris.
• Repurpose: Once the wax is down to 1/2 inch, clean out the jar and reuse your frosted glass keepsake.
