I bought this lotion as a birthday gift for a friend who has been vacationing in the Adirondacks since she was a little girl. She LOVES being in that beautiful region and loved the smell of the lotion.
I love the smell and feel of this lotion. The moisture lasts too. I really appreciate knowing the ingredients. Many moisturizers say, “fragrance” and I’ve come to learn that it is a blanket word for lots of chemicals, some that may not be healthy. I’ve ordered this lotion multiple times. I use the lavender balsam soap too.
I ordered this along with the sample collections. This has a pleasant scent on the skin. It is amazing how quickly it absorbs into the skin. You can definitely smell the eucalyptus with the lavender and mint back notes, though I like those. It is a clean, almost "mediciny" scent. It is very light. It goes on a bit wet, then when you rub it in, it dries in quickly with no greasy feel at all, just smooth skin. I am not sure what I was expecting with this. I did have a bit of trouble with the pump on it, but I finally was able to get it working. I am pleased with this. I wish that they would have lotion for each of their scents. The best part of this is that it doesn't bother my allergies, as so many scents do. I am happy with this purchase, especially since I ordered this before I was able to try the sample scents.

I used this as a hand soap at my friend's lake house and it is one of the few soaps that does not make my hands all chapped, even though I used it frequently. Lovely!

I don't normally like balsam scent, but I love this combination. Smells great, makes my hands feel soft but not greasy. I've never had trouble with it on my hands, but when I used a large amount on my arms, it caused me to break out in hives. I've never had a skin reaction to anything before, so I was pretty surprised. But I guess it will be a hands-only lotion from now on.
